Sanssouci ticket and tour reviews
I have written up the five things I actually send people to: the sanssouci+ day ticket, two guided days out from Berlin, the bus-and-walking tour of Potsdam and a private guide. Each review says what happens step by step, what is and is not included, who it suits and what I would grumble about. They rate between 4.5 and 4.9, and the numbers behind those ratings range from 42 reviews to over four thousand, so I keep the rating and the count together on every page.

The day ticket is what I buy myself when I want the New Palace as well; it is the right choice if you are already coming to Potsdam and will make your slot. The Berlin coach tour is the one I give to friends staying in Berlin with one free afternoon, because the slot, the transport and the audio tour are all sorted. The City and Castles tour is a good overview of Potsdam with the palace interior deliberately left out, so buy that separately if you want it. The walking tour is for people who care about the Cold War as much as the Rococo, and who are happy on their feet for six hours. The private walk is the small, fast option for families and anyone who wants to ask questions.
How I rate them
I do not run tours and I do not sell tickets. I read the listing, note what is stated as included and what is stated as unsuitable, and set that against the rating and the number of people behind it. A 4.9 from 42 reviews and a 4.7 from 4,064 are different kinds of evidence, so I do not rank one above the other on the number alone. Where a listing says a tour is not suitable for wheelchair users, I say so in the review rather than in a footnote — the accessibility page has the full picture for the palace itself.
What the ratings do not tell you
Most of the disappointment I hear about Sanssouci has nothing to do with the operator. It comes from timed entry: the palace admits a limited number of people per day at fixed times, and the midday slots go first in summer. A ticket bought at the Historic Windmill counter at noon in July will usually be for late afternoon, if there is one at all. The tours that include entry solve that by holding the slot for you. The tickets page explains the system, and how long to visit explains why the interior is a 40-minute walk and the park is a whole day. The palace is closed every Monday, all year, and the tours that visit the interior do not change that. Check the opening hours before you pick a date.

Three of the five. The day ticket is the entry itself, and the Berlin coach tour and the private walk both include the palace visit. The City and Castles tour and the half-day walking tour stay outside.
