Do you need tickets for Sanssouci Palace?
Three tickets by name
There is a single palace ticket for Sanssouci Palace alone; the sanssouci+ day ticket, which is one-time entry that day to every open SPSG palace in Potsdam with a fixed Sanssouci slot and optionally a New Palace slot; and a family version of sanssouci+. Reduced rates exist at the counter. They are sold at all palace counters, both visitor centres and online. The differences are worked through on the tickets page and the sanssouci+ page.
What the ticket does not include
A guide. The interior is self-guided with the free SANSSOUCI app, which is not a loss. It also does not include transport, which is where the tours from Berlin come in: the coach tour bundles the ticket and the ride.
If the slots for your day are gone, you still have the terraces, the fountain and the grave, and on a good day that is most of the postcard. Book the interior for another day.
Check today’s slots
The sanssouci+ day ticket on GetYourGuide carries a fixed Sanssouci slot. Live availability below.
