What actually happens
Your guide waits at the Babelsberger Straße exit of Potsdam Hauptbahnhof holding a name sign. From there the walk goes to the City Palace, rebuilt with its pink façade and now the state parliament, through the Dutch Quarter, past Potsdam’s own Brandenburg Gate on Luisenplatz (1770, older than Berlin’s) and in through the park to Sanssouci Palace.
